A fabulousemerald pendantfrom the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 18k yellow gold, this piece features an oval-shaped carved emerald intaglio. The intaglio features a crest, which depicts a two-headed griffin, a crown, and a central shield. The intaglio is held within a smooth and simple bezel setting, and the emerald displays a light green hue. The top of the piece features a complementary bail, which would allow the piece to easily attach to a favorite gold chain. A unique and eye-catching pedant, this piece would make a lovely addition to any intaglio collection!
Measurements:The pendant hangs just over 1 5/8" long, is 1" wide and has a depth of 1/4".
