A gorgeous locket from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This wonderful pieceiscrafted in vibrant 10kt yellow gold and has a stunning floral design covering the entire front surface. Two blossoming flowers are surrounded by elegantlyengraved foliage that glints with each turn in the light. The locket opens to reveal two spaces to display a personal photograph if desired and the piece hangs from a simple gold bail stamped "10K". A very artisticand feminine Art Nouveau piece, it would look perfectworn on a simple gold chain and would make a beautifuladdition to any collection!
Measurements:The locket has a diameter of approximately 1 5/8" including the bail, 1 1/2" wide, and measuresabout 3/8" thick. It weighs 10.3 grams.
Condition:The overall condition of the locket is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold. The locket hinge opens easily and fastens securely and the bail is secure and intact.
