A fabulous and bold carnelianring from the Art Nouveau (ca1900s)era! Crafted insterling silver, this relatively large piece displays agorgeouscarnelian stone at the center of an ornate setting.The elongated stone displays a flat, smoothly polished surface andexhibits a wonderful rich, orangey-brown hue that pairs beautifully with the sterling setting. A fabulous 3-dimensional border encircles the entire stone, featuringflowing leaves and budding flowers that perfectly reflect its Art Nouveau era. A naturaldarkened patina adorns the low points of the border, providing wonderful dimension to theoveralldesign. Completing the look is a textured stacked that band wrapsaroundthe back where it is stamped with a "STERLING" purity mark inside of the shank. The ring looks stunning on and the piece wouldmake a lovely addition toany collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.25but could be re-sized. The centerpiecemeasures about 1 1/8" tall, 3/4 wide, and about1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to thesilver setting or to the carnelianstone which is secure and intact.
